"The expression of my feelings through painting is my way of communicating with others and myself. I view each painting as an opportunity to make a visual statement. It is exciting for me when my students find art approachable and an outlet for individual creativity and emotion. My paintings reflect the energy drawn from working with people, the sharing of enthusiasm for art as a form of communication and self expression."

Anne has been teaching on-going classes of 120 students per week and selling her art for the last 35 years at her gallery and studio at Art's Sake Gallery and Studio. Her workshops have been conducted in the United States, France, Ireland, Italy and Greece with a scheduled one in Sonoma, California in April, 2009. Her medium are watercolor, oil, acrylic and pastels, with experience in many others. She competes in approximately 10 artist exhibitions per year as well as painting for gallery commitments and commissions.

Anne is a member of the Virginia Watercolor Society, Southern Watercolor Society, Catherine Lorillard Wolf Art Club, NYC, National Watercolor Society, American Watercolor Society and the Baltimore Watercolor Society. She has competed and won many awards with these affiliations. She has been seen in Style magazine, Artist magazine, American Artist, Virginia Living, Seattle Homes and Traditional Homes. Anne has won 1st and 2nd place in the "Best of Artist and Artisans of Virginia and one 1st place in The Best of America Watercolor Artist. Anne has dedicated her life to art and its creation. Because of her extraordinary flair, her work is on demand in the United States as well as internationally. She is currently preparing her first book.
